so i came across e careers while i was in world job i was looking for something

new any careers had a great module which

took you from a beginner through to the

advanced learning and i wanted to be a penetration tester so i found that with

the careers i could learn the computing fundamentals uh networking server and

all this before doing the pen testing which was um really the perfect thing

that i needed really to bring up to speed [Music]

the course has been great i've learned a lot there's been a wealth of material

and it's all easily simply organized on the website and

quick to find um and there's been three

different tutors now that i've had for online sessions so like for five days or

eight days how long it was we'd be supplementing our learning with

a tutor and we could talk to them directly and have that live interaction

yes it's been great it's been a really fun course

the recruitment support has been really good i've had an excellent

mentor so to speak um someone that has

helped me with my cv i helped move linkedin and managed to find other

potential jobs for me and it's just been there really if i need support if i've

ever felt uh maybe a little bit less confident and i'm like oh i think i'm

going to find a job i can simply email the

person who's been assigned and then they get back to you really quickly with

words of encouragement um and i'll have to turn one job down about saying no to

it because i didn't feel it was right for me but the e-careers tutor um

course supervisor person has said they will still look out for new roles um so

it's great that they are going to be still with you and they're behind you every step of the way even if the first

job that comes your way isn't necessarily the one that you are going

uh they're very quick in trying to find your placement even before i've fully

finished my entire course now i'm still yet to do one of the modules to become

fully certified with hacker there's already been

interests within my application

and they've helped with putting together a video cv and then putting that out to

um contacts that they have so yeah it's very quick and i'm pleasantly surprised

that there is um behind the scenes you know there's the support there for you

in finding a job not only within you know learning and and support with your

mentoring of your education but there's also support for your um

social skills your soft skills that help you get that that position that you're
