This PRINCE2 Foundation and Practitioner training gives you a complete understanding of how the PRINCE2 method supports structured, controlled, and adaptable project delivery.

This module brings your learning together. It teaches you how to adapt PRINCE2 without losing the structure and controls that make the method effective.

The Foundation and Practitioner course is delivered over five days through scheduled live virtual classroom training.

The Foundation element helps you understand PRINCE2 terminology, principles, practices, processes, people guidance, and core project management concepts. The Practitioner part then focuses on applying and tailoring that knowledge to practical project scenarios.

You will learn through trainer-led sessions, discussion, practical examples, scenario-based exercises, mock exams, and guided use of the official manual.

You must also complete mandatory online pre-course work before your live sessions begin. This gives you a stronger starting point and prepares you for the main training.

The package includes both exams, the official digital manual, PRINCE2 Project Management process map, tutor support, and Exam Pass Guarantee*. You have 12 months from the purchase date to complete both assessments.

You must pass both assessments to achieve the two PRINCE2 certifications.

The Foundation assessment checks whether you understand the method and can act as an informed member of a project management team. The Practitioner assessment checks whether you can apply and tailor the method to a project scenario.

The Foundation exam assesses your knowledge of PRINCE2 terminology, principles, practices, processes, and key concepts.

PRINCE2 Project Management Practitioner exam

The Practitioner exam assesses whether you can apply and tailor PRINCE2 in a practical project environment.

It also tests your ability to review a scenario, assess the available information, and select a suitable course of action.

• Number of questions: 56 questions and sub-questions
• Marks available: 70
• Pass mark: 42 out of 70, or 60%
• Duration: 150 minutes, or 2 hours 30 minutes

You must pass Foundation before you are eligible to sit Practitioner.
