We may collect the following information from you when you register for our programmes, place bookings, complete surveys or application forms, provide services to us, contact us for support or submit an order for services from us:

6. work details and contacts if appropriate* 
7. your billing details including credit card and/or bank details
8. general financial and credit information at your request for third party credit providers for loan or credit application purposes

The data may be collected by us when you visit our website to, use our online services, enter into agreement with us and/or third party, request us to provide information about yourself to third party credit providers for loan or credit application purposes, communicate with us over telephone or in any other matter such as web chat, SMS, fax or email. 

We require this information to understand your needs and provide you with a better service.  We will only use personal information for the purpose it was collected. Most commonly, this will include the following circumstances:

1. When we need to perform services relating to a contract we have entered into with you, this could include:
   1. When you subscribe to our services 
   2. For application and registration purposes prior to participating in an event, programme or activity.

   4. To Provide  technical support and operate our customer service call centre which deals with customers using your  data hosted and secured in the UK..

3. Where you have given your consent for e-Careers  and selected third parties to provide you with information about e-Careers’ programmes, events, and activities that we think may be relevant to you. We will only send electronic marketing messages in the following circumstances:
   1. When you have consented by completing the relevant field on our web forms, event registration forms, programme application forms and/or evaluation forms as appropriate.
   2. To monitor the volume, type and pattern of traffic using our website, to improve the effectiveness of our website and the services offered by e-Careers.
   3. send you communications which you have requested and that may be of interest to you. These may include information about using our services, training courses and other events provided by us
   4. seek your views or comments on our services
   5. To take photographs, audio and video footage at our events, programmes, and activities for use in e-Careers digital and printed materials, communications, publications, and social media sites to promote the benefits of our services.

If you do not want us to use your data in this way you can use the unsubscribe link in our email communications at any time to opt out.  e-Careers will never sell or rent your information to third parties.  We will only share your data when there is a legal basis to do so.  Any data we share will be used by suppliers and third party processors under this Privacy Notice.

We may also use your personal information in the following situations, which are likely to be rare:

• Where we are required to do so by law or to meet a legal obligation.
• Where we need to protect your vital interests (or someone else's interests).
• Where it is needed in the public interest or for official purposes.
• Where, if we sell e-Careers or in the event of a reorganisation, sales, lease, merger, joint venture, assignment, amalgamation or any other type of acquisition, disposal or financing of all or any portion of our business or any of the business assets or shares , so you can continue to receive the same products and services and continue the same or similar relationship with, the third party.

 e-Careers is committed to ensuring that your personal information is held securely.. In order to prevent unauthorised access or disclosure, we have in place suitable physical, electronic and managerial processes to safeguard and secure the information we collect. Our website is maintained on a secure server.  All our suppliers meet the standards required under data protection legislation.  Staff training is undertaken regularly, and checks are made by IT staff to ensure that data quality is maintained. 

• All our customers data are stored securely on datacenter located in London. 
• We do not store customers credit card details or any of their personal financial details on our database. 
• Customers’ credentials are encrypted using a complex algorithm before storing them in a database. 
• We carefully review the all the forms collecting data to make sure we are collecting only the relevant and required data to process their order and enrol them on a course.  
• Customers’ data are stored securely in a database hosted on private dedicated server and the credentials are encrypted 

We review the access logs periodically to make sure the right number of users have access to the right amount of data. 

Unfortunately, no data transmission or storage system is completely secure.  If you feel the security of your account or interaction with us has been compromised, please contact us immediately.  If such a disclosure were to occur, then we will contact you as soon as possible to explain what has happened and take all steps required of us to meet out legal obligations.

Your information is held securely in the UK.

 If your information is transferred outside the UK for these purposes, then we take appropriate measures to ensure that your data remains protected at all times to the standards imposed by the Data Protection Act 2018 and the UK General Data Protection Regulation and as set out in this Privacy Notice. These include ensuring that transactions are processed correctly, identifying fraud, and complying with any laws and rules that apply to us and to our suppliers and service providers. We hold the information that you provide to us while you are an active, registered user and member, when you register for our services or as long as is set out in any contract you hold with us. Therefore, even if you close your account with us, we may keep certain data to meet our obligations but for no longer than is required or permitted by law.

In certain circumstances, we might refuse a request for rectification especially if we believe that the personal information we hold about you is accurate.
4. The right to erasure
   In certain circumstances, you may ask us to delete information about you and stop processing or publishing it and this right to erasure is also known as the ‘the right to be forgotten’. To view your data you can login to your account, select view and click on Personal Data. You can request that we delete your data and we will take reasonable steps to respond to your request in accordance with the legal requirements.
5. The right to restrict processing
   You have the right to object to processing that is likely to cause you damage or distress.  Where you challenge the accuracy or lawful processing of your information, we will consider this.
   This is not an absolute right and only applies in certain circumstances. When you restrict the processing of your data, we will store your personal data, but we will not use it.
6. The right to data portability
   You have the right to data portability, which will allow you to obtain and reuse your personal information we hold about you for your own purposes across different services. We will provide to you, or a third party you have chosen, your information in a structured commonly used, machine readable format.
