What are the different IOSH courses?

IOSH offers a wide range of health and safety training courses which they have divided into four categories:

• Core Skills
• Management Education
• Executive Education
• Professional Development

Core Skills – A series of fundamental training courses which every person in the workplace needs, irrespective of role. These courses include Working Safely, Fire Safety Awareness, and Safety, Health and Environment for Construction Workers.

Management Education – Aimed at those responsible for implementing health and safety in the workplace, in line with the business strategy. These courses include Managing Safely (and refresher option), Environment for Business, Fire Safety for Managers, Managing Occupational Health and Wellbeing, Safety, Health and Environment for Construction Site Managers.   

Executive Education – Advanced training to support overall business requirements. These courses include Leading Safely, Corporate Governance, and Corporate Risk Essentials.

Professional Development – Aim at health and safety professionals. Courses include Continuing Professional Development (CPD) courses and the Level 3 Certificate.
