e-Careers recognised with National Business Award

e-Careers has been recognised for its innovative approach to career development at the UK Business Awards.

Widely known as ‘The Dons’, the UK Business Awards recognises Britain’s leading organisations, SMEs and Business Leaders with 2017’s finalists including prestigious firms, Lloyds Banking Group and Marston’s Beer Company.

Securing the ‘Disruptive Business Model’ award, e-Careers wowed judges with its successful development of a unique business model, which has enabled the firm to educate in excess of 450,000 students over the past 6 years alone.

This has been achieved by combining education, technology and marketing, to offer affordable and accessible education to the masses – supported by some 75 partnerships with key organisations, including educational establishments and awarding bodies.

The judging process was a challenging one, where following initial entry and shortlisting, all finalists were required to present their case to judges at an all-day event, held at Wembley Stadium on Tuesday 22ndNovember. The winners were then announced and presented with their trophies in the afternoon.

CEO of e-Careers, Jazz Gandhum, said: “Through hard work and constant innovation e-Careers ensures some 7,000 students per month benefit from quality learning material, remote mentors and industry recognised qualifications without facing restrictions in flexibility, time, cost or accessibility.”

“I am, therefore, ecstatic that e-Careers has been awarded ‘Disruptive Business Model’ in the UK Business Awards, and feel this to be true recognition of our dedication to transforming education through technology.”

Acquired by Jazz Gandhum in 2011, e-Careers has grown from a lifestyle business with a turnover of just £180,000 into a multi-million-pound empire, which has supported the professional development of learners worldwide.
