e-Careers' CEO Jazz Gandhum receives leading award

CEO of e-Careers, Jazz Gandhum has successfully scooped ‘Entrepreneur of the Year’ at the 2017 Amazon Growing Business Awards.

Jazz was awarded the biggest individual accolade of the night, beating a strong shortlist of finalists from a vast range of fellow British disruptor brands, at the award ceremony held in London on 29 November.

The judges were unanimous in their decision, recognizing Jazz’s success in developing innovative Businesses that have bettered the lives of others - showcased in e-Careers, where he has worked hard to combine Education, Technology and Marketing to provide affordable and accessible education to the masses.

Since his acquisition of e-Careers in 2011, CEO Jazz has successfully transformed the firm from a lifestyle business with two employees and a turnover of £180,000, into a multi-million-pound empire. His investment and hard work in e-Careers has been rewarded alongside two equally successful business ventures; growing a global Teflon business for the chemical process industry and developing natural isotonic drinks brand iPro Sport.

Speaking after picking up the award, Jazz said: “I find great excitement from innovative and energetic business ventures, so to be endorsed as Entrepreneur of the Year and to reflect on the progress made at e-Careers is hugely rewarding.”

“Just to be nominated among some great business leaders was a real honour, but to come out on top is testament to the collective hard work – from Langley to Mumbai – that goes into making education more accessible and affordable by harnessing the power of technology. To have the recognition of industry leaders like Amazon and the CBI will be a valuable boost for young and dynamic team at e-Careers as we continue to grow.”
